Bought a Bodymedia FIT Core armband on Saturday and I am more motivated than ever to get this healthy thing done right. I checked out the fitbit cuz I saw the ad over here on the side of my fs, but ultimately I went with instant gratification and a super sale price at Costco. For me, buying off the shelf beats waiting for the mail everytime. ANYWAY this little gadget tracks my actual calorie burn--how much I've burned and how much I have left to do for the day. It is really cool. I am much better with concrete numbers than estimates. I feel like I have gained a competitive edge with this little gadget. I am pumped to see real data in real time and to beat my goals--daily and otherwise. Today I am grateful for my 13-year-old daughter who jokingly volunteered to Zumba with me--she didn't think I would take her up on it, but I did! It was great!!!
