Fathead pizza dough (recipes all over the net) is very good and uses just a little almond flour. I made 2 big pizzas with it at a party and nobody complained that it was dry.

Try to look for Keto recipes using almond flour that have 5 stars. I have baked A LOT with almond flour for special occasions and haven't had issues with dryness but its different than working with wheat flour. Very finely shredded zucchini can add a really nice moisture to baked goods. Too many nuts/ cheeses make me stall so I only use almond flour once in a while.

I did use a almond flour recipe, but maybe not a good one...? I really dont like zucchini but if the flavor isn't noticeable, then it could be an option.

The fathead recipe looks promising! Thank you will try this next.

The flavor is not noticeable. It doesn't make things zucchini flavored. I put it in Keto chocolate muffins for my kids- my son loves them, but hates zucchini. 😊 The crust on a Keto pizza is just meant to hold the thing together/ not really provide a bread- like crust. I'm sure if you load your pizza up with healthy veggies in addition to the pepperoni, you won't think that the pizza is dry. But its never going to be a "bready" pizza. 3. more things you can do- 1. Find a Keto bread recipe that you like and just put sauce, cheese etc on that a slice and broil it. 2. I have made a pepperoni pizza wrap for my daughter using a low carb tortilla and then grilling both sides in a pan or foreman grill. You might like that. 3. Check out cooking Keto with Christie. She makes an instant pizza in a nonstick pan using nothing but mozzarella for the crust. Good luck!

I was just asking because almond flour takes distinctly like almonds bean flour is a little beany (both flavors I dont mind), so I could only assume the same for zucchini. Glad to hear that is not the case! I do experiment with wraps and such, and while they are really good, I'm trying to find a way to have the closest thing to authentic pizza as I can. I will defiantly try zucchini, and check out Christie on youtube! (Also cheese as crust sounds awesome 😂) Thanks for your help and detailed answers!

I don't know if you like bell peppers.. but I made if you Google mini pepper pizzas..you slice the pepper in half and make it into a little pizza no carbs and very delicious and I loveee peppers 👌

I saw something once about using cauliflower for the pizza crust somehow. Don't remember exactly how.

I'm not a HUGE fan of bell peppers but I like them from time to time. Will definitely try that, and yeah I saw the cauliflower recipe somewhere, but as I'm new to this didnt have cauliflower in the fridge LOL (what a noob I am 😂)
