Wow!! That's quite an ambitious menu! I hope everything went smoothly for you. I'm not sure I could tackle all those in one meal, but I have to say it sounds absolutely wonderful!
Post your recipes!! Sounds so yummy!

I think you are doing the best by cooking yourself, Valentine's Day has become so commercialized these days. The menu sounds terrific. Have a great V-Day!

Wow. Quite the menu! Lots of components, as they say on Top Chef. Let us know how it comes out. I cooked also, but nothing quite that ambitious. Love blue cheese.

Info- I agree. I also told him not to buy me flowers because they jack the price up so much. They are just flowers! I told him he can get some for me next week instead lol.

I used to be a don't bother with flowers kind of a girl but I think I got the message out a little too well. And I stopped getting flowers completely. My husband is probably usually afraid I won't like whatever he gets me. But he got me flowers yesterday and they are really cheerful and beautiful. Normally I prefer wildflowers to roses (and baby's breath makes me think of something old and dusty for some reason), but these are bright pink and yellow and opening so nicely. (I hucked the baby's breath.) I'm really happy my husband didn't give up on me quite yet with the flowers. He was brave.
