Valentine's Day! Plan on giving my Valentine a nice orchid and the gooiest high sugar killer calorie cupcakes I can find. I do the sweet thing every now and then to thank her for putting up with me on this diet. I try to exude moral superiority when I don't eat any of the sweets, but after being married 42 years, the moral superiority thing rarely gets noticed.
