I am on a roll with weight loss this week. I am excited. 238.2! Down a lb since yesterday.
I also am wearing my 40 inch waist pants today! I dug through the closet to find them, and they fit nicely, almost perfectly. Wife had asked about them, and a lot of my 42's were really too big to where I needed a belt. I may bring a few pairs to the tailor and have them taken in. Although many of them are pretty worn out and need replacing.
Yesterday was a good day. Took wife to embassy for passport renewal. That went well once we got inside, wow the security today! I walked that trip without my boot. Including the nasty dirt parking lot, lots of curbs, stairs, etc. It was enough for me to decide, I am wearing my boot for one more week at work. Its too treacherous, and my ankle and tendon is just not up for that challenge. If this was the states, and I had smooth ground and sidewalks maybe... Not a rocky unpaved grrr..
For lunch I used some peanut oil to heat up some veggies, rice and chicken from the day before. It was surprising how that changes the taste. I have been watching some cooking shows, and learned about different oils. Oils all basically have the same calories/fat. Some even say there are nutritional benefits to Peanut Oil, so I got a cheap bottle to check it out. I figure it is kind of a quality kind of thing, if I am going to take in roughly 120 cal a TBSP, I want it to taste good. Just something to mix up my diet. Kind of like when Olive Oil was new to me, I loved it with everything, Peanut Oil is doing that today...
Dinner was a wrap with more chicken (not sick of chicken yet...), Olive Oil mixed with Mayo and Hot Sauce into an Aouli. Hmm, probably should have logged that :-P.
Today will be a good day! Work, Biology tonight with a quiz that is going to kick my butt. I can do it, I can do it.
