Flex points are extra points that are a part of the plan. It allows you to have some flexibility when going out to eat, a party or just using a few extra a day. Some people lose better when eating all or part of them, some people do better not eating them. It us up to the individual to play around and find out. Activity points are also optional. They are points you earn when working out. Some people don't eat flex but eat their activity points. Again, you need to find out what works for you. But the more points you eat while losing, the more you can eat while maintaining. Good luck!
