Hi, Dennis58 and everyone else! I joined on 4-22-17 so I'm pretty new to this site, but I'm loving it. There is so much to do and so many things to do, I'm having so much fun. I joined 60+ group a few days ago also. Good luck on your journey!

Hello Dolores scuderi Johnson. Yeah, I too love this site, there is so much info and the food database is super! I also like the fact that if you don't find a food already here, you can add it yourself as long as you have the nutritional info for it... Best site I've seen or found so far...

Hi, Dennis! Hi, Erika. Thanks for the welcome! I've been watching my sodium, lately. Long story short, Rhabdomyolysis, (over dose on prescription drugs) dialysis, 2 weeks in the hospital and 20 days in rehab learning to walk and everything else, again. Swollen ankles worry me. I'm usually on LCHF diet and I think I'm going back on it. It hasn't been great for loosing weight lately (I think my body caught on to what I was doing!) It is the diet I feel I should be on even though I haven't lost weight for a long time, everything else was good when I was on it. My A1C, my triglycerides,and my cholesterol numbers all went down lower than they've been in a long time. That being said, maybe it isn't all that important that I loose weight because the benefits are good enough even without the weight loss. I'm having a hard time doing LCHF and Low sodium which is also what I should be doing. They seem to contradict each other. I would love to believe that's possible but I'm not sure it is. I will be going back on LCHF because I'm afraid not to be on it. And maybe I can still watch my sodium intake also. Thanks for listening!
