For several months now my weight has stayed the same. It seems I've hit on something that works for maintenance. I weigh myself every Friday morning right after I get up, before dressing. Every Thursday night I wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety about my weight. I wonder what I will weigh in the morning. Will my weight be back up to 125, 130, what if I weight 140?! As if my weight has a life of its own, independent of my good habits and vigilance. Crazy.
