Shay1327's Journal, 04 Feb 10

Well last night was my cheat dinner. Waaaay too many calories, but I was able to keep it under 2,000. That makes me feel good, I can still have a treat once a week but knowing about it ahead of time I'm able to keep eating healthy during the day and have my treat at night. And my mom's food is sooo good.

My husband came home last night (he's an OTR truck driver) for a quick visit. He brought the kids toys, and he brought me a pedometer!!! I am so happy that he is supporting me in my quest to be healthier. He doesn't always understand (he eats thousands of calories and is rail thin) but I think it is starting to sink in.

Time to start a new day!!!

Good job. It's great when you can get family to support you because in the long run you need them to not sabatoge your success and be happy for you. My husband wanted to go to Burger King, but we compromised and went to subway. He is trying to support me more this time around.

Thank you, my husband has been unsupportive in the past. Not in a mean way but a "oh, you've been so good McDonalds and Dairy Queen will be a treat" but it always sends me backsliding.
