I was really challenged yesterday with both exercise and food! I had a situation at work that got my blood flowing followed by car trouble for my sister and myself. I left work headed to help my sister with a flat tire on her car to find out that I had a flat tire on the back of my car. Uggggh! So I made use of the spare tire and off to help my sister, but we were unable to find a used tire for her car before the places closed. Of course the stress faced through the day attacked my desire for food. I was craving everything I could think of last night. I didn't have my usual snack before leaving work and it was 6:30pm and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. So I gave in and had a beefy crunch burrito from taco bell. Then on the way home I stopped at KFC and got a family meal along with a free sweet tea - REALLY! As if it wasn't bad enough that I was craving all these foods they are tempting me with sweet tea! Oh what a day! So I decided to eat the cole slaw and one chicken thigh REMOVING the skin! Yea! I also resisted the sweet tea! The exercise challenge was that my thighs were hurting about 5 inches above my knees. My jogging almost brought me to tears so I stopped after one song and decided to stretch my thighs with leg lifts and squats. Then I rested a few minutes before jogging to the second song. I must say that I really did not want to exercise at all last night but the positive is that I pushed through and did some exercises. I did complete my crunches and jumping jacks as well. So now to put the day behind me and focus on the positive of completing my challenges despite my other challenges. But yes food is the enemy and the cravings are strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
