Does anyone else do this thing when you really want the scale to show a loss? Today I saw I was exactly the same weight as yesterday and so I was like, oh, let me take my earrings off, and my ring, and my bracelet... then YAY now I weigh 0.2 lbs less and I feel better? Lol. I know that's "cheating" but hey it makes me more motivated to be good again today!

Tomorrow's my official weigh in day on the WW site. I need to be at 145 even in order to maintain my healthy 2 lbs a week weight loss.

My mood is so much better over the past month that I've been striving to eat healthier. Salem said I've been much less of a "spaz" as he calls me when I freak out about (what he considers) minor things.

I feel more in control of my weight and I guess that is spilling out into other aspects of my life so I feel more in control about them as well. For example, I opened 3 savings acccounts (granted they all have like $50 in them each!) so I can save for three specific goal-oriented things: our wedding, furniture for our house, and emergencies.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1)Happy hour for my friend Tara's b-day
2)How much I actually LIKE my classes this semester
3)DVR... I'd never see any of my fave TV shows w/o it!

I wish everyone a very successful Thursday! :)

Haha. Of course we do those things! I am even worse. Every time I go to the bathroom I step back on the scale hoping it will give me a different number. :) Congrats with the savings accounts! I know my husband loves when I am eating well (though not the first few days during which I am a horror) and exercising regularly. I know I'm a much easier person to deal with. I like myself more. When I am eating a lot of sugar/wheat I get upset more easily, I feel sorry for myself, I am more paranoid.

Lol... that is funny about the "after bathroom" scale checking. It's so weird how we really ARE affected by what we eat. Eat crap, feel crappy. Eat well, feel well!

Good for you to start saving for the things you want and good to have 3 separate places. You are doing great Chris. I am so happy for you.

I try to only step on the scale once a week however lately its been harder because I have been working out and feel like I should have lost at least a pound by now... so I step on the scale. Normally not the dramatic results I am expecting so I am going to continue to try and stick to the once a week for better results :)

I don't think you cheated at all, it's best to be *buck naked* when one weighs-in. ;-) Tomorrow, however, you will have nothing left to take off so you had better lose a little today.
