ShyGuy's Journal, 04 Mar 17

Well, as I said yesterday, this is Soup-er Saturday, and though I had plans to make an interesting and well thought out soup, I had my lunch very late in the day, so I won't be making it, at least not today. Instead, I'll just heat up some chicken broth, and that will suffice for today. I guess I'll have to make my soup tomorrow, but it's well worth the wait. :-)

Soup is always worth the wait. :)

I made the soup, today, and it turned out pretty good. I made a Beef Zoodle Soup, with mushrooms, cabbage, zucchini, and some carrots. Even though it turned out pretty good I've decided that chicken based soups are more to my liking.

I agree, you can't go wrong with chicken broth...we go through at least two gallons a week! It is the base of our cream soups...asparagus, broccoli, cauli, etc. Bruce's need for pureed foods leans towards lots of soup!
