I went way over my RDI yesterday - it wasn't planned in advance but Saturday has become something of an indulgence day so I decided to go with it and just record everything. As with the last few weeks, I will stay under RDI through the week to balance it out. Even when indulging, I guess I'm lucky that my preference is for pretty healthy foods - I indulged in a large stir fry of fresh prawns with chopped peppers and fresh garlic served with avocado and a squeeze of lemon. I had a couple glasses of wine and also a few (measured 25g - that's not many!!!) cashews to start my evening. Finished off later with a handful of chocolate-covered coffee beans.

So 400g up on the scale this morning - normal!

I achieved a lot of what I planned yesterday, but not the gift shopping. It was a freezing cold, rainy day with snow flurries, absolutely not ideal for browsing around the shops! I got my hair done and did some grocery shopping and got soaked and frozen walking home! I spent much of the rest of the day clearing clutter and doing housework.

I'll need a long brisk walk today to keep my metabolism up and clear my head - not sure if the fuzziness is due to the wine or the ToM, probably a bit of both. It looks really cold out there but not wet at the moment, just foggy and damp looking. I also have filing to do after yesterday's clutter clearing and maybe I'll hit the shops later today, many of them are open on Sundays.
