I've had a great day for both food and exercise but I'm not overly hopeful for a new low tomorrow because of PMT - no worries, it'll be gone by this time next week.

I forgot to mention that the new trousers I bought yesterday are a size smaller than usual and although I'm not used to wearing trousers that actually fit, I think they look pretty good. It's hard to believe I've dropped a size - I know my trousers are all too big but I still had it in my mind that it could be because they're old, out of shape - a hundred and one reasons. In the shops, I didn't quite have enough confidence to go straight to a smaller size, but everything I tried in the old size was too big! Yippee! This is real progress and I'm so pleased.

Now I'm thinking of looking for maybe one more pair tomorrow and then waiting until the spring as I'm sure there'll be new lines in the shops really soon, and hopefully I'll continue to lose so don't want to spend too much yet - it'll be baggy jeans for a while longer!

I'm off soon to put my daughter on a bus to go and join husband and older daughter in the capital with relatives. I'm staying home alone to catch up with work and hopefully to relax - I love spending time alone once in a while.
