So today is my birthday and as usual the weather is gross lol. That's what I get for being born in the winter. Our power was out so I couldn't even shower b/c I didn't want to freeze to death! It's like a monsoon outside, my car was shaking from the wind as I was driving to work. I should have just given myself the day off from work today.

I need this to be a good diet week because this weekend was a mess. Way too much food. Dinner last night at Salem's parents' house was fondue! I tried not to eat too much but I can only imagine how many calories I consumed.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) A small repair bill from the dealership
2) An unexpected birthday email from an old friend
3) Snuggling with my pup and hitting the snooze button more than once!

Happy birthday! Snuggling with pup is the best way to start the day. We have two dogs that sleep with us and they require "morning rubbins" to start the best. Our little one rolls right over onto her back as soon as she sees one of us is awake. Hope you enjoy the day and dont' fret too much about the fondue. It's your birthday. Enjoy!

Happy Happy Birthday to you Chris and thanks for the wine tip. Our power was out this morning too. Went out about 3am and didn't come back on till 630. Funny! I hope you do something fun today!

Oh yes ... Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!!! You know, my mother's theory is that you can celebrate all month long when it is your birthday .... therefore ... if today wasn't so "special" pick another day to celebrate YOU!!! Sorry about the crummy weather ... maybe you should celebrate your HALF birthday on July 25th!!! The weather is bound to be good then!! LOL!!!
