4 days, and counting. I'm beginning to stock up on the Low Carb shakes, and other items that I need to be successful; as you got to have some things, on hand, for those days when you just don't have the time to cook, and don't want to risk messing things up by stopping for fast food.

Thanks. The other day I brainstormed, and wrote down, a few pages of notes that will help me to stay focused. In my opinion, the biggest enemy to a Low Carb Lifestyle is a failure to plan ahead; so that's what I'm doing. Oh, yeah! I'm getting pumped for success!

I think its the failure to know which low cal food combinations you would enjoy so that you don't relapse

John, whereas I appreciate any and all comments; when a person is totally "In the zone", of a Low Carb lifestyle, caloric intake is irrelevant; because it acts like a natural appetite depressant and your caloric intake goes down, naturally, while you are losing weight. Sure, there will be days, when my caloric intake will be higher than others, based on the meats I choose to eat, such as pigtails, and other soulfood favorites, but the same can be said about it being lower when I choose to eat my favorite seafood, grilled and or baked salmon, catfish, and shrimp. So, my focus is on the carbs, not the calories, and the weight will still come off. When I'm "In the Zone", a relapse isn't even on my radar.

I do a lot better if I stay away from the carbs. But I love my bread and pasta. I found a pasta with protien and fiber from Barilla. Love it.
