I have been really plugging away with my workouts at the gym! I have been burning about 1200 calories a day, awesome. I have slipped on my eating a couple of times this week with the hubby home but I couldn't possibly have eaten more than I have burned. I am going to work hard to buckle down and eat clean every meal so that when those occasional splurges appear, I can enjoy a bit in moderation. The scale has been going haywire since I started the intense workouts so I think I need to avoid it for a while to save my sanity. I know with what I am doing it will eventually go down but right now the daily fluctuations, especially after a high salt meal, are really getting to me.

I hear you..it's amazing how the scale will fluctuate so much after a certain meal. You're right - you need to stay away from the scale and what you are doing is awesome!!! Keep up the good work :-)

I know about the scale. I haven't weighed in and won't be until it's get to a steady number or a number that I'm comfortable with! You're doing great with the workouts, inspiring me...

You're so right about the scale - it can be an evil little device. lol - I'm so impressed with your work out! As a matter of fact, I was going to sit on my lazy a-- today and I read your journal and after I type this I'm going to the gym, so thanks! By the way my sacle fluctuations are ridiculous! I've read a pickle = a pound! Is that crazy or what? A friend of mine told me she takes the "average" of her weights. but that would include a calculation and I don't think I'm up for that - JUST kiddin'.
