When you go to your orientation find out about the health services on campus if there are any, if not someone like your school counselor should be able to help. IDK why your parents act the way they do but you are the one in control of how you react to them. Try not to let them get to you. Depression is a serious matter and suicide is never the answer to temporary problems. My family had to deal with that awhile ago. Believe me it is very difficult for the people left behind. My daughter suffers from anxiety and depression takes meds to raise her seratonin levels so she isn't depressed. Might help you to be talking to someone about how you feel. Friend, counselor, pastor somebody. Be thankful you don't have too much longer at home. college is a new turn in your life, a new leaf. Make new friends, join clubs keep busy and remember that you are a work in progress. Take care. Sorry for the novel.
