Despite all my efforts and exercise I've been doing for a week now on a daily basis, instead of losing I'm gaining weight again... Grr!

I think that's muscle gain...? Muscle weighs more than fat.

Have you tried lowering sugar/carb intake? I eat low carb and I feel much better...

Rckc, :) yeah, that's what I'd be supposed to be doing...though, it's the toughest part of the whole dieting process:)))

If you can't do all at once, maybe try a meal at a time? For breakfast eggs and bacon instead of bread and jam? Butter instead of margarine? Little changes can lead to big results!
