Day 2 (in Phase 1): LOST 7.5 LBS IN 2 DAYS! when I weighed myself before lunch, but at night weighed 179.5 (which is still 5.5 lbs lost in 2 days. Amazing! I have not been in the 170s for months/years? I can't remember. Breakfast: de-caf coffee with skim milk and sweeters, I forgot to pack a breakfast so I ate half my lunch (salad with canned tuna, no dressing so I put some salt and pepper). Drank lots of water today. For dinner I had to buy since I didn't have a lot of time, so I saw 7-11 and thought nothing healthy there, so next to it was a Greek Donair place. I was so proud of myself. I got a beef donair minus the bread/pita that it normally comes in, no sauce it also had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a greek salad. For a drink I got a V8 can. I was cranky. Did anyone else experience this? I heard that SBD can make some people cranky. Feedback would be appreciated.

Sounds like a fantastic start! If you are a purist, be advised that the V-8 has a little carrot and beet juice in it. I really don't care to be that perfect and I like V-8 so I drink it while on phase one which may be making my phase one into a phase two. :-) I'm sure I don't have to mention that losing too fast almost invariably leads to weight gain soon afterwards, but the psychological boost is irreplaceable. You are likely to level off for a couple of days during which your self discipline will be tested. Buckle up and hang in there!
