This is not a New Year's resolution, but I've got to get started. I am being more serious this time, I think. Of course I say that every time. But since August, I've gained about 15 pounds (that's four months). That is about 4 lbs a month. I will see if I can lose about four lbs a month. The doctor said to set a goal of losing 1 lb a week. That's the same as four lbs a month. At the end of the year I will have lost 52 lbs. So that's the strategy I am using.

The Bible says, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. So I am well able to overcome.

Father, I need your help. I am asking You to give me the strength the discipline and will power necessary to be consistent with my resolve my renewed anointing in accomploishing this goal to lose weight.

In Jesus' Name. Amen.
