It's the day before the night before Christmas and I've been busy being baaaad. This past week has turned into an eating fest having nothing to do with with holidays. I was hungry and upset at the scale and went into 'I don't care mode' where I stopped paying attention to eating times and calories. Funny, despite eating over 2,000 calories and sweets galore each day, I've been dropping weight and am only 2.4 pounds up from being back at my lowest weight of the year!
Many of you know I don't record gains on here so I will step on the scale for the final time tomorrow before the festivities begin and then record an official weight (even if a gain) on January 3rd for documentation (I love to see the year over year start). I have a number that I refuse to go past so I plan to indulge only 4 days of the next 11 that I'm off work. It actually shouldn't be that bad, we won't have many sweets around this year. And no matter what happens, I'm positioned to enter 2017 nearly 20 pounds less than I did 2016 so I'll take that is a win!
Be strong my buddies but enjoy as well, this only happens once a year. See you on the other side. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
