dcwalker's Journal, 23 Dec 16

My sons are home for the holiday. My oldest is trying to gain weight. Smack my head. He's talking to his brothers, who are coaching him on weight gain. Apparently he's supposed to be consuming 3000 calories a day. It's difficult (really?) and he's supposed to be tracking his food. He admitted to forgetting to write down everything every day. Then there's a deafening yell from the bathroom. He had gotten on the scale. HE HAD LOST WEIGHT. His brothers fell out laughing. Sorry not sorry not funny. Unfortunately for me, my husband is the same way. Tries to gain weight (well not anymore - now he has a little 61 yr old's pot belly.) He would say I eat a lot and I can't gain weight. Hah! He did not eat a lot. I know eating a lot. He did not eat a lot. Oh, well, we all have our burdens to bear. Yup - but not being able to gain weight is NOT A BURDEN PEOPLE!!
