Happy New Year (Eve)! A good jaunt on the eliptical at 7 for 10 min, then 25 min of the weights that are supposed to keep my lean muscle from continuing to disappear. Then my first HIT...well part of a HIT anyway. Sorry, I couldn't recover in only minute...it took me 2 before I could start again. 4.7, the highest I have ever run for 2 min and I was out of breath by then for sure. Only did 5 repeats, had to get home from gym because daughter decided to start the new year with a fever, but I will consider it a good start with room to grow...optimistically :) HR 120 at the low end and 165 at the high, but that was the first repeat and it modulated after that to around 145.
