Yeah! Back to 193 lbs this morning. Could it be that exercise really works? Well I didn't go to the gym yesterday because my legs were still pretty tight from my bike rides this weekend and my back was not 100% either. In the past I have overdone it and caused problems.

I decided I'll get off my duff and go for as many walks as many times a day as I can today (and every day) as well as get some strenuous exercise in a few times a week.

I have a pedometer. It takes around 500 steps from the parking lot to my office each way. I also did a 2065 step walk in roughly 20 minutes. That is roughly 1 mile at 3 mph. (Really, I thought I was walking faster than that for a 6'-2" guy???) I'm going to get some more accurate data later on, but for now this works. Activity = GOOD!

Nice rebound Poul!! Walking is really underrated as an exercise...very beneficial not just for weight (fat) loss but for overall health too. The best for me is walking with a good friend or family member (while visiting), or walking with our dog.

Yep, activity works. :)) People underestimate walks, but I know they're effective too... even slow ones. You are doing great buddy!

walking is the best exercise...an its free..just takes consistence to keep on track of things...your doing fantastic..
