Sunrise's Journal, 06 Dec 11

So today marks one month since I started on this journey.

Some of the things I have accomplished this month:
- I have lost 15 pounds!
- I have lost at least 8 inches (probably more; just started tracking
two weeks ago)
- I have brought my blood pressure down naturally to within almost
normal limits
- I have had no headaches for 2+ weeks
- I have not had any GERD symptoms for 2+ weeks
- Overall mood is greatly improved
- Can now walk up 4 flights of stairs with ease
- Consistently made very healthy food choices 99.5% of the time
- Engaged in cardio exercise at least 6 days a week
- Started a weight training routine in addtion to the cardio

Yay me :) And that's with only 15 pounds lost - I can't imagine how much better I'll feel next month!

I need this reminder because I've been discouraged by the stubbon scale which hasn't budged for 7 whole days despite all my efforts :( But I shall not give up. The gains noted above are completely worth every bit of sweat and effort!

You are doing fabulous!! 15 lbs in a month is considered very fast weightloss. I average around 5 lbs per month, sometimes it's been closer to 10. But, I am focusing on exercise and fitness with slower weightloss at the moment. Your list is great. Keep referring to it often! :)

Thanks! Yes, I know that's fast, but there were probably a few pounds of water weight in there. I've already slowed down if the past week is any indication. I'm sure this month will be 10 or less. Slow is steady is better, but it sure is hard for impatient sorts like me :).
