Well, my excitement over 2 pounds down yesterday was a little premature. Back up to 257.5. Hopefully it's just because I had a little more sodium than usual yesterday. The good news is that my blood pressure is definitely coming down. Today it's 120/87 - almost normal!! That's quite a bit of progress compared to the 175/100 readings I was getting just a month ago! Woohoo - now my doctor will not insist on my going on medication when I visit him next week :) I also haven't had any headaches for a couple weeks. I wonder if my healthier eating and regular exercise is helping with that too. With so many wonderful benefits to good diet and exercise, it's amazing to me that I can be so stubborn sometimes! But no more - this one's for life!
