If you check my caliper measurements you can see that the cycle does not effect my body fat. It's doing what I want. I still seem to be dropping body fat, though it's slow. I have no problem with it being slow at this point. I'm right around 10%. I want to keep the muscle. This routine is reported to do that, though, I am considering doing a 10 day cycle with a 3 day load instead of 7 day cycle. Apparently that's the way cycling was originally done. 7 days is simple though. You can plan for weekends.

Kathleen. Interesting you should say that. In fact it is not the joy that most people who are currently in weight loss mode would find enjoyable. I don't enjoy feeling stuffed, as much as I sometimes play with you guys about it. I actually know a bodybuilder who says she hates the carb cycling. She said she's either starving or bloated. I agree with that as well. 2800 is maintenance for me with lifting. 1700 calorie days are no fun. The 5000 calorie day is uncomfortable as well. The two maintenance days feel pretty nice.

I'm all about playing with the chemistry set I was given. It's interesting. I do believe Dan John is correct. "Everything works, for about 6 weeks."
