Suffering from IBS or Diverticulosis/litis or other tummy/intestinal troubles? I am not one to give out unsolicited advice, but I have had these problems in the past and used naturapathic products, limited food choices and anything and everything to help and have stumbled on something that REALLY seems to help.
Kefir. It is cultured milk product, much like yogurt, but it has 12 strains of beneficial bacteria vs 4-5 in yogurt. I drink about a quart a week and have had no distress since I started. I have even been able to stop taking the natural GI supplements...just wanted to share, it may help someone...

Lulani, how much exercise do you get??? Try to get as active as possible. It could really help. They told me I had a slight case too, when I had butt scoped.

Warren, I do cardio 5-6 times a week, I am a waitress and I do core strength training 3-4 times a week. I have a five acre property that I take care of and play with three grandkids a couple times a week. i am very active. The intestinal problems were most likely stressed induced...eating meals with my mother in law became very un-fun...she complains about EVERYTHING...long story short...I was able to really turn things around...i have only had two flare ups that required meds twice in almost 8 years!!! Also, NEVER overeating seems key in my gut health...if I eat past a certain point, I will feel pain in that lower left side, and it almost can trigger a flare up!

I really hope that gets better for you. Obviously, why your diet is so important for you here. Sounds like it has been a priority for you, so that's good. Best of luck with it all!
