I've noticed these last couple of days that I've been consistently reading dark purple on my Ketostix. I've rarely ever seen that before, and I'm wondering what the cause is. Perhaps it is all the physical therapy and exercise? Or perhaps I've just never reached this deep of Ketosis before?
I know that the strips are notoriously unreliable due to numerous factors, but I'm drinking more water than before so it can't be dehydration. I've tested from two different containers to see if it just was that batch, and it is definitely showing the same.
Eventually the level is supposed to go down after a long period of time, but I've never reached the point where the level starts to taper off as I always end up eating too much protein at some point or have some social activity that throws me off balance.
I'm hopeful someone can shed some light on this for me.
