Tonight is maximum effort deadlift and dynamic squat.

I'm so used to the stiff commercial gym barbells at my old gym for deadlifting, the powerlifting gym has texas deadlift bars which are 1/4" smaller in diameter and designed to flex to provide whip on the way up which helps train deadlift speed. Not 100% sure how its gonna go.

The owner of the gym commented on a deadlifting video that I posted on my Instagram, offering to personally coach me. His personal best deadlift is currently 605 lbs. at 175 lb. bodyweight. Quite amazing. and talk about customer service! 1 week at this gym and I will already never lift anywhere else!
