WOW! I just had breakfast, and part of it was a steak that I had never heard of before. One of the butchers, at a local grocery store, introduced me to a cut of steak that I've never heard of nor had before. It's called a Chuck Eye Steak, and you'd think it be a tough piece of meat, being chuck, and considering I only cooked it for 4 minutes per side. It was very tender, and though it was $5.00 a pound, it was just as good as a rib eye steak, which usually costs a lot more. She said one of the other butchers tries to buy them out whenever they get marked down on the day of the best buy date. I'll be keeping an eye out for these from now on. Served it with some scrambled eggs, and a spicy kimchi. Pretty good, but kimchi will no longer be a breakfast item for me. LOL

What's with the kimchi? I remember once having had a big jar in the fridge bought in a Korean Deli in San Francisco. For some reason we did not have it closed all the way and it fermented over the top right into the fridge. Jim cleaned it up LOL. I like kimshi.

I've been into kimchee, and other Korean delights, since my Tae Kwon Do days. I found it, at the Commissary, this weekend, and the checker suggested I go to an Asian market to get the big jar , you mentioned. I like it, but I won't be eating it so much as to warrant getting the big jar. I figured it would be a nice accompaniment to any grilled meat, or asian inspired meal, I eat. :)

Yeah, but at one net carb per 2 oz serving, it's not bad; I use it like condiment, and won't be eating it every day.

Re Korean delights. Jim spent quite a lot of time in Korea with his job. He loves good food, and whenever he got to another country, he ate their local delights as you call them. Then, after he came home, we ate (cooked) that way for at least a month. We really got into it LOL. Picky eater? What's that? ;D
