wooohoooo!

i met with the trainer on Thursday and she gave me a whole new workout routine! I haven't tried it on my own yet, i'm going with my sister today after school. It's pretty intense stuff...like what I see people doing at the gym and just have no idea how they KNOW to do it. well...there you go. I'm on the Bozu ball for a great deal of the strength training part...it's very scary. She had me get on it for the first time in front of all these meathead gym rats and it was so embarrassing! I could literally FEEL all of my excess fat jiggling and I could feel them watching me! IF anything, it's motivation to get rid of the fat so it doesnt jiggle. ha.

good news, though, is that i lost 3 inches around my hips, almost an inch around my waist, 1/2 an inch around my arms, and nothing on my thighs. she said my thighs were bulking up and said it'd balance out in no time. i've only lost 3 pounds...but she said since i'm gaining muscle and losing inches it isn't a problem. i was so stoked i lost 3 inches around my hips! and almost an inch at the stomach! it really helped my motivation and i think i ate better because of it this weekend. go me! i can't wait until my next meeting with her to see what ELSE came off :)

Great job! It's not just about the scale, and seeing those inches/fat come off is a great motivating factor.

Thats awesome! I was thinking about taking my measurements, also! You don't realize how much weight you're losing when you're busy gaining muscle, unless you do measurements. Congrats girl!
