Today I had a new PR of a 200 lb dead lift!!!! Yahoo...I'm very proud of myself! Happy dance!! A 62 year old lifting 200 lbs!!!!

Rock on! I assume it is a barbell with weights...we use heavy dumbbells at the gym I attend. Right now I do two 40 pound dumbbells for my deadlifts...which also is a PR for me. We are getting there! I am 61 years old.

Yes a barbell. Nice dumbbell weight for you. I actually feel that is harder! Either way we are building muscle.

I've just gotten some stretchy rubbery bandy thingies to help with strength and flexibility. I'm very much thinking of using tins of baked beans as dumbbells to see how I do with them before actually buying a set of my own. :)
