I really struggle with bad eating habits. I snack all the time and if I find myself then I am craving something sweet. I also really struggle with saying no to myself even tho I really want to change and know that saying no will help me aka I have no self control. I feel so disappointed in myself and just kind of discouraged... is it just me? maybe you guys have some tips and tricks that I dont know about.

I used to be the same. I was hungry all the time. I changed my diet when I found out I was in the beginning stages of fatty liver disease. I went on a LCHF (low carb, high fat) diet, it literally changed my life. You see with unhealthy high carbs and sugar your insulin spikes and then crashes, making you constantly hungry. I used to get hangry alot because of these spikes and crashes. Since going LCHF, my insulin is more stable and comes back down slowly and I don't get as hungry as much as I used to. Maybe look into it and try it? This is what has worked for me, I feel more in control of my eating habits, I don't feel sluggish or tired all the time. Hope you find what works for you 💐

Gosh you wrote exactly what I have a fight with myself about daily. it's discipline and willpower that we need to work on and we can do it... I find if I am very clear with myself and I don't try to negotiate things go better. Goodluck and know you are not alone.

Have you tried intermittent fasting. I think it might help you to be more disciplined and cut the cravings.

LCHF diet worked amazingly well for me. Little to no cravings for sweet things I also combined it with intermittent fasting. Works like a charm!

I just don't buy the naughty stuff. If it's in the cupboard, I'm going to eat it when the craving hits. So I'll just have things like berries and yogurt or have sugar free jelly, things like that when thr craving hits. It just makes it easier to say no if you need to go out and buy stuff everytime the craving hits. I read the book Atomic Habits recently and it really helped me to form better habits.
