I used to. one year back from now, I was obsessed with skincare. moisturizer, sunscreen, toner, cleanser, scrub, serum, aloe, vit E oil, rice cream, undereye cream, and the list kind of goes on with anything that promises to take away my skin problems. I had pimples, hyperpigmentation, dark circles, pores, and even dry splotches of skin here and there over my face and body. consulted so many doctors and I still have all those creams and lotions lying in my inventory. none worked.
Turns out all of those were unnecessary. It's been six months I've dumped all of those and made my own magic potion that has cleared my skin.
magic potion 👉 Aloevera gel(store bought)+ Vit E capsule. I mix the gel and oil in the Vit E capsule together in a glass jar and use that as a moisturizer and serum. MAGIC. I make a batch per week cause I don't store it in the fridge.
so now, my bedtime skincare routine is somewhat like this-
1.wash my face with Dettol soap(literally Dettol 😂. works for me)
2. magic potion
3. Trioderm
4. SLEEP.
I don't apply Trioderm that often but at times when I get a fungal, bacterial or inflammatory infection (during summers I tend to get ringworms) it works wonders. If I need to get under the sun, I wash my face and apply Lakme sunscreen and just go about my day.

Also, since I started working out I've noticed that my skin got clearer. maybe cause of lot of sweating.
i completed my HS last yr and boy was it hectic. couldn't get enough sleep and my dark circles were the evidence. Fkd up my hormone balance too with a lot of processed food consumption. And I've been avoiding all that for the last one yr. i think all these adds up to my healed skin problems.
1. My minimal skincare
2. workout
3. homemade food
4. cutting out oil and sugar from my diet
5. getting enough sleep.

I have consulted a dermatologist for my skin. I have a combination - oily skin.
Below is my skincare routine that has worked wonders for me.
PS: I was on isotretinoin medication (10gms/day for one whole year before given this routine.
I have also been working out so that adds to clearer skin as well.

Hyaluronic (Brand - Purehill)/Niacinamide (Brand - Dermexotica) serum (on alternate mornings)
Hydro Active Aqua Oil free Moisturizer (As suggested by dermatologist : If needed. I don't use it most mornings)
FotoProtector Isdin Fusion Water Sunscreen
Night:
Dermaceutic Light Ceutic Night Cream
- Contains Glycolic acid, Phytic acid and Vitamin C Complex
Hydro Activ Aqua Oil Free Moisturiser
