Started on Sept 4th and this diet has been fairly easy to stick to. I filled in the gaps on the first couple of days with raw broccoli and carrots, only eaten when I felt boredom hunger coming on. Drink lots of water to keep your self from eating when you are only thirsty... I am also doing P90X so my first week was tough. My brother -in-law didn't start seeing substantial results until week-2. this may be due to the shock to your system // I am also making slight modifications to the diet to keep my calories between 1200 and 1500.
