Eating out is harder when you don’t know where you are going!

Today I had Crab-cakes, spinach, eggs and potatoes from The Pan he in LA(Gardena, Ca).

I also shared one banana pancake with my sister-mom.

Yes! it is much harder when you can't plan ahead! My husband has learned I need to prepare by deciding where to eat in advance. He's really good about finding places and researching the menu for me. ❤️ Sometimes you just have to guesstimate the calories because mom & pops and small chains don't have a published nutritional chart. 🎯

Read, read, learn, self educate. Ask for a nutritional consult if your insurance covers it. The more you read the more it all begins to make sense.

GigiDunaway— part of learning to successfully control your food intake is learning to adapt to any food situation without having to preview menus, etc. you can look at any menue and even without the calories listed see what choices there are that might be in your BEST interest. If you have been doing FS a while you can identify a portion that is in your best interest and you can always split a meal with hubby. I often do t try to track meals out because it is a shot in the dark guess at best. The same applies to my own cooking sometimes when I am putting together a couple of leftovers to create a meal. I rely on portion control. I am not fond of eating out, so when I do I consider that in the choices I make for my other meals.
