As I begin the 2nd week of really trying to reform my habits and lose weight, I am optimistic. My workout regimen hasn't gotten much better yet, perhaps a little more consistent, but my eating is better. My calorie intake is a little low sometimes. But, there's the risk of underestimating stuff so it may be better to be on the low side. I'm trying not to eat anything I can't measure. I can't seem to muster the gumption still to drive 15-20 minutes to the YMCA in the evening. I have been fitting in a couple workouts in a week at home though. Workouts with Jody are still new, so far so good on staying consistent. We'll work on intensity but I'm just happy we're adopting new healthy habits right now. Overall, I'm losing weight and feeling good. If I can at least match last week's weight loss of 6 lbs, I'll be pretty happy.
