Fritzy 22's Journal, 21 May 24

This morning I asked Bobby if he wanted to go for a walk when I was at the front door. I heard a really loud thud as he jumped off the bed straight to the hard floor instead of using the ottoman there for him. He limped to me. So I just dropped him and my cat Marco off at the vet and they will call me once they've been checked out. Marco is bleeding from his gums. Not a good day so far.

I stopped at the ATM to get cash to pay the young man who is taking care of nearly a half acre of weeds and the ATM went dead but finally gave me my card back. Called the bank and they show a $200 cash withdrawal so I'll have to file a dispute. Lousy day so far so I bought a bag of tater tots at the grocery store! Also bought a cooked chicken breast and a small bag of pistachios. Almost bought ice cream because it was on sale for $3.99 but talked myself out of it!

I walked without Bobby for over 5000 steps and my knee started hurting just a little. But last night I didn't even need to take Ibuprofen.

My realtor came over yesterday and I agreed to lower the price on my house because no one is looking at it and I really want to move. Between my homeowner's insurance and HOA dues I have nearly $9000 due at the end of June! One reason it's hard to sell the house is insurance is nearly impossible to get and the California Fair Plan is about all that's available for new policies and it's crazy expensive.
