HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2016 YEAR OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Today is the first day of a new year. They say those who fail to plan, plan to fail. Well I plan on succeeding this year to reach my goal weight. I spent an hour today setting up my workout pyramid to track my workout progress. I then proceeded to pack up the Christmas Tree and all of the Christmas decor. I then proceeded to move all the furniture and vacuum the entire apartment.

Feng Shui practice move furniture to move the chi energy.
I moved my exercise bike from my bedroom to the living room. This way I see it coming and going from my apartment no more excuses to climb into bed and sleep instead of working out. It's also closer to the kitchen and will prevent me from going into the kitchen to graze.

I also took photographs in a workout outfit that does not fit well at all.
These photos will be attached to my pyramid progress chart and refrigerator to keep me on track. (Sorry FAT SECRET FAMILY not brave enough to post these photos on the site.)

I have been drinking 100 oz. of water for the last two days and I can tell you increasing my water intake has also increased my trips to the bathroom.

Tomorrow morning begins my workout routine at 4:00 am so my journal will be short tonight. I am sending loving thoughts and positive energy to all of the FAT SECRET FAMILY to make 2016 the best weight loss year ever.

"Let go the things that no longer serve you"!

I am planning to let go the extra weight I am carrying how about you.

Your body WILL adjust to water. I drink at least a gallon over the course of each day and I have to pee less than anyone I know (sorry, TMI?) Seems that my skin and hair absorb a lot, according to my stylist anyway--I have almost no lines in my face, so there must be something to it. And the water helps regulate my appetite, too....so many times when you think you're hungry, it's your body trying to get some water--if you feel thirsty, you're actually deydrated! LOVE your focus and your plans. I have found, too, that the more I prepare and fix ahead (and I don't mean just food) the better I do. You are SO going to do this!

PS - I agree with Elizabeth above. I drink a tonne each day. I stop measuring most afternoons when I am already at 2.5 litres. IMHO I look better now than I did in my mid 20s (now 45 years young). Of course I look older (!) but my skin and hair glow. Hairdressers LOVE my hair - always intrigued to stroke it and touch it - hehehe! and these days I'm not ashamed to say that I "work it". I am also confident enough to go bare faced on a "good day" but am sensible enough to know that a little bit of quality and well applied make-up works wonders IF you've got good skin to work on top of. It's not just the water that is the magic bullet though, it's also the quality of your fuel and IMHO if you work out and "love life" that all shines through to add to your over all "glow". Yeah, you've got all those ingredients in hand. Give it a little bit of time and you'll be glowing too xxxxx

Hello Fat Secret Family. I agree with all you comments about drinking the water. I never really get thirsty so I am really pushing the water now. Today I drunk 3 1.5 liter bottles of water. I did 71 minutes on treadmill today at speed of 3.1 total calorie burn 375 and 3.35 miles today. I also lifted weights. My legs were a little sore but I managed to go to the grocery store to pick up more fruit. I am sticking to my challenges of eating 3 fruits a day and squats. I actually did my squats holding an 8 lb medicine ball while watching Cirque Du Soleil Worlds Away on DVD. (By the way fitness equipment is always on sale in January. I picked up the medicine ball on 12/31 for $4.99.) It's actually very good with a lot of music from the Beatles. Day 2 of the new year and I am rocking and rolling on the weight loss highway. My first weigh in for the new year will be tomorrow, so whatever shows up in the scale is just a jumping off point. I also bought a picture of a beautiful butterfly and hung it up next to my exercise bike as a visual Que that I am a transforming butterfly.
