New year, new me. I am adjusting my goal to be a short term one so I can see the progress and be successful! I bought myself a Fitbit for Christmas to help keep myself on track! That will motivate me to be more active in order to meet the daily goals. This site helps me keep track of my food. Between the two I hope to find balance & accountability. I WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!!!

Congratulations on your progress and your purchase! I was about to purchase a Fitbit for myself as well when I realized that a stationery bike would cost the same, and I need something to stay active this winter. So the hifolutin Fitbit that I was gonna get may have to wait, unless I opt for one without all the bells and whistles. What do you think?

I am wondering about a Fitbit, too. Anyone with experience have any suggestions about which to buy and/or are they worth the price?

I got the Fitbit charge because I wanted the watch feature. If you are just wanting the step counter the lower models would work. I have only had mine for a week & have been on vacation during the time so this gave me a great baseline for when I am back at work. For me it was worth the money to have the watch & step counter

You can do it girl! Small steps it's ok but consistency is the key.
What's your main goal?

After years of focusing on the number on the scale (& failing each time), my main goal now is to live a healthier more active lifestyle. This change may (or may not) result in a downward movement of numbers on the scale!
