I feel like i have finally rewired my brain to stop craving junk food.

I did this by meal prepping, which helped me avoid buying ultra processed foods. These foods were engineered to taste good and be addictive which is why it is difficult to stop eating these even when you want to stop. I watched a YouTube documentary which helped me understand some of the food engineering behind my cravings.

Our cravings are intentional by someone’s design, and each time you give into them, some corporation profits! Listen, i had to take a radical stance to detox my brain from these foods so that it stops calling out to them. To do this, meal preparation is essential. Cook food you enjoy, ignore/delete uber eats. Have an emergency frozen meal for when the cooked food runs out and watch yourself slowly forget about McDs, Chicken Licken, KFC etc

I read some Very interesting things about ultra processed foods. In some countries they say 20-30% of people are literally addicted to them. Tim Noakes also talks about it- the combination of sugar, salt, fat and ‘Mouth feel’. Also, how quickly the food disappears from your mouth/super easy to chew, makes it subconsciously addictive.
