Make some small goals and attain them and then make some more.

Some days are like that. 6 lbs is not bad to bounce back, it's not starting from scratch. All of us go through the ups and downs. When you need someone to pick you up you've got your FS friends!! You've got this!

Take a deep breath, it will be okay. I took a break in November, December and January. We had 2 stomach bugs and covid in our household all during the month of January-it was horrible. I missed so much work which gives me great anxiety. I gained 20 pounds in 3 months from stress eating and holidays. I am just now trying to get back on track, I’m trying to be a little better than I was, that is all I can commit to right now. Just try to do a little better, you don’t have to be perfect to see results. I’m sorry you are so stressed out, I worry about everything too and I eat my feelings, it’s a horrible cycle. I will be praying for you!!!❤️

I agreee with MorticiaAddams. Mini goals that support a larger one are an effective tool for me as well. Also, if you are only using the scale, add some other metrics to quantify progress. The scale alone is not a great one. Measurements, progress pics, energy levels are often better metrics than the scale.

Emotional eating is a tough one for me. Lack of control (when things aren’t going as planned) cause me to overeat or make bad choices. Try drinking water when you catch yourself starting to eat when you’re not hungry. It’s not easy I’m still working on it myself

Yup looks like that scale Creeper got you backed in a corner….Time to slap him back down….AGAIN and then AGAIN and AGAIN. Good advice from these here already 💪 If I don’t watch my intake my exercise won’t make much difference and that creeper will get me too. Set a goal to keep that calorie deficit going and increase exercise time. Good luck!

It’s in your name…u got this! Life gets in the way sometimes but just regroup and start over. Making small goals, planning, prepping, logging, and movement/exercise will get you where you want to be💜💜

Stop being a baby. Crying about it won’t get you anywhere. Grow the hell up and take control of your life. You’re in charge not the food!!

Focus on one positive thing each day. Go outside and breathe in fresh air and regroup your thoughts, you’ve got this.

Half of those 6 pounds could be water, so don’t beat yourself up about it. Eliminating alcohol and red vines have helped me.

Get back on track while it is only 6lbs gained. Last time my life was difficult, it was 50lbs before I decided to do something about it. Going outside and having brisk walks does wonders for mental state. Also learned there really is truth to "you are what you eat".. as I had anxiety and depression when I ate crappy foods.. and now eating only vegetables and meat, those mental problems are completely gone and stressors don't affect me like they used to. It is not too late to make a change!

6 lbs isn't that much. I know it can be hard to stop the train sometimes, though. Do you remember why you started this lifestyle change? Health? Pretty clothes? Mood? You can do it!

They're right...6 lbs. is doable but don't it keep going up. I know how hard it is when you're under stress. The more you gain the more stressed you become. The best thing you can do is ask Jesus to help you. You'd be surprised what a little prayer can do. Have a Blessed day!

@yougotthis3 Setbacks are temporary. You can rebound. It is frustrating that it takes a week to lose a pound but a day to gain it back. Stress is a contributing factor. Breathe…often. 😂. I get it.
