Thank you! Same with me. And it makes me feel so negative when I see those numbers go up and down. I'll also be weighing myself monthly from now on

You're absolutely right. It's discouraging to see the fluctuations when you know you've put in extra hard work. I on the other hand weigh myself seldom and gauge my weight loss by the level of energy, the clothes, the foods I say no to and how much I could do without breathing profusely.

So true. It’s almost that time and this morning I was like why is my stomach looking so round. Last week it didn’t. Also tried on 3 different outfits before I decided on something I felt comfortable in

Absolutely! I have ditched the scale to longer maybe just even put it away for once in a while. As I have come to realize that I would rather tone muscle and feel difference in clothing. The scale shows many influences don't get me wrong yes it shows weight loss but daily it flaculates. I am in the mindset I would rather gain and tone muscle I have lost then lose muscle mass because I have lost muscle mass from restrictive diets and when I stopped each I gained fat and kgs even more lost muscle. This time round I eat x3 healthy meals, cut the sugar and processed foods and incorporated more physical activities that "I enjoy." First week I had withdrawal symptoms from not climbing on the scale now I do not miss it all. How scary to think a scale can be to rule your life?🤔

Girrrl, the scale is devilish! I'm glad we noticed how attaching it is to our wellbeing but now we're in total control. Adding to your lifestyle I challenge you to try intermittent fasting weekly... you'll see an accelated weight loss and you'll be able to maintain it longer.
I've maintained my weight for almost 2 months now and I really don't care what the scale says at times because I feel great and I see tangible results.

This was me today! I know that I shouldn’t weigh myself every week but I had the urge and i regret it.

I needed to see this. I just did a weight in and I'm up 1.1kg. However, my clothes are so loose. Damn hormones 😕

Interesting :) honestly weekly weigh ins helped me to stay motivated and on track. I weighed in every Friday morning first thing and skipped weigh in during my mensies week. We moved recently so all progress has gone out the window 😂 but interesting how we differ and find movitation in different ways. Good job on your progress!
