Today I am 6 weeks postpartum and have officially recovered from c-section 🥳 Now I can drive, lift the baby in his car seat and that means life is going to get more adventurous! ⠀ Baby is growing well, and it seems I have grown well too 🤭 So today starts my new weightloss journey! I was doing very well until I got pregnant, only 0.8kg away from my first big goal! Beware of keto ladies, you risk improving your health and getting pregnant 🤣🙈 ⠀ I'm exclusively breastfeeding, so need to be careful with my dieting - don't want to reduce my intake too much and lose milk. Won't be doing keto just yet either, but going to reduce carbs. ⠀ So, here goes my plan: • Intermittent fasting 18:6 - lunch at around 12 and dinner at 18; • At least 2l of water daily; • No bad carbs - unless I'm absolutely desperate, then can have a little bit as a treat (eg one biscuit and not the full pack of them); • Start with 2000 calories - 1500 for me and 500 for breastmilk. Will see how it goes and adjust. • Walk every day. Keep doing small walks for now and once it gets warmer, will be going for long walks in the park. • Eat big fresh salad every day, at least for one of the meals 🥗 ⠀ Wish me luck! 🤞
