It doesn’t matter what you are eating, if your calories-in is equal to your calories-out for the day, you won’t lose any weight. Another reason can be- if you have reduced your calorie intake drastically over the last few months, your body will shift into a starvation mode and will hold onto every calorie and fat you intake, in short your metabolism and BMR will decrease.

Keep at it consistently. There are a lot of factors at play here. Don't worry about the results. Stay focused on the goal; This may seem clichéd but even stress which produces cortisol prevents weight loss. Sometimes the first step down takes a while for the body. Also as some persons have suggested: 1. Calories In must be less than calories out. And don't crash diet; 2. Have some activity - more than what you are used to. A few flights of stairs if your knees can support it is a very great workout. Walk more. 3. Have lots of water. And have some sources of protein. Just carbs means you will also lose muscle mass and Muscle burns more fat. Keep at it. All the best.

Youre eating too low calories, so your body will rather store fat than burn it, thinking youre starving. I would also advice you eat meals you can eat for 1 year, 2 years and so on. else you would keep going back and forth on diets. you may lose weight temporarily but youre messing up your metabolism and once you go back to eating normally (which you would) you will gain all the weight back. instead of looking for quick fixes why dont you choose a more sustainable eating pattern and build a healthy relationship with food. how long can you keep eating only hard boiled eggs or one meal a day. this is the reason why 'dieting' never ends.
