I am excited that I am taking up a new habit that will contribute to my health and fitness: bicycling! I fell in love with an adorable beach cruiser at Target before we went away for our vacation, and I finally got around to buying it this week, thanks to a generous 7th anniversary gift from my folks. I am looking forward to having it as an alternate form of transportation and saving some gas, and sneaking in an extra cardio workout when I travel! I already rode it to the park to teach Body Back the other evening, so that was about a 10 mile round trip, and to the bank yesterday, for another 9 miles or so.
And, you know, it couldn't hurt to get good at biking, in case I want to, you know, try a triathlon next year or something.... ;)
