Was braucht eine Katze zum Reisen? den EU Tierausweis, notwendige Impfungen und wir sorgen natürlich dafür, dass sie wenig stress hat. Es ist auf jeden Fall nicht langweilig :) 

wo kommt die Katze im Flieger oder Zug denn hin? 

I have not traveled with my Maine Coon cat. I always left her at home during the trip, and someone came and looked after her in my absence. firstly, you can only transport animals up to a certain weight in the cabin, and a maine coon weighs about 10 kg, and I would be afraid to take a carrier with a cat to the luggage compartment, this is a very big stress for a cat. probably traveling by car with such a big cat is an option. but we have never traveled by car with a cat. she had a hard time taking short car trips. 

in general, I rarely see travelers with cats at airports. I see more with dogs in huge cages. 

Diätmorgan, danke für die tolle Frage! Bis zu 8 kg Gewicht kommen Katzen in die Kabine. D.h. in einer Transportbox- für den Flieger sind die Abmessungen wichtig (bei der Airline zu erfragen), für den Zug ist die Größe der Box egal. Wir haben verschiedene ausprobiert: unsere Katze fühlt sich wohl in einer atmungsaktiven Tasche mit vielen Fenstern, definitiv besser als eine Plastiktransportbox. 

MariaMezentseva, true! Less stress or even better no stress at all for the cat- is the best option. We are travelling a lot by car with the cat, but we started very early to teach her doing short tripps. And observed how it works. If we travel to Asia or arabian countries she stays at home.. it’s so difficult to prepare all the required papers. EU travel is easy….
