This is getting bad. I have been on this thing for how long now? I thought I would have been down a few pounds by now. I weigh 281 now and figure I am slipping off my diet and I am not keeping track. I need to do the little things.

Last I ran/walked 2.5 miles. I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. My shirt was just dripping though. I must be fat. LOL.

My sister said to stop running. She said only do weights. I wasn't sure about that. Knee surgery was tough. However, my right knee is still soft and creeky. Eeeeeeee! I can barely lift 30ilbs. I could barely do 15 lbs that last time. So I must be getting more stronger.

Trying to eat nothing but beans and rice.

Why just rice and beans? That is a lot of starch that keeps us fat. Perhaps eat some lean protein, green veggies and small amount of fruits.

Since you have a bad knee, try a rowing machine. It works out your quads, hamstrings, glutes, core, back, triceps, and biceps. It's a great cardio workout, even at a steady pace, but you can work out as fast as you like.
